This hands-on introductory workshop focuses on monitoring of interfaces using Siemens OPENLink™ Operations Functionality and interface alerts. Class participants will be given an introduction to the basics the concepts of Siemens OPENLink™ interface, connection, and protocols. An introduction to fundamental concepts of building Siemens OPENLink™ Toolkit interfaces including how to build an HL7 transaction and map between different transaction types. This class will be taught using the newest version of Siemens OPENLink, version 23.9. Audience: IT technical staff responsible for system interfaces |

This hands-on class will explore advanced Siemens OPENLink features including tips for building efficient interfaces and the use of User Exits. Learn which functions are performed at the various communication layers within the Siemens OPENLink product and how you can use this information to facilitate troubleshooting. We will also have an in-depth discussion of Siemens OPENLink archiving, how it works, how to optimally configure it for your environment and how to use archiving tools for testing and troubleshooting. Finally, we’ll get hands on experience using the new features in Siemens OPENLink 23.9. Audience: Intermediate to advanced analysts and developers. Attendees should have completed the Siemens corporate-based OPENLink™ Base Services and OPENLink™ Toolkit education. |
