| W33 | ||
|
This workshop covers the maintenance and support of both outbound and inbound orders (ORM), inbound results (ORU), outbound order response messages (ORR), inbound charges (DFT), and the order trigger process used to prompt outbound orders. We will first discuss interface implementation considerations, followed by hands-on interface setup and the chance to create outbound order messages. We will review the difference between triggering outbound orders and receiving inbound orders, and the intricacies of setting up an OC interface with your specific order formats. We will also cover the pros and cons of receiving single charges or charge batches. And if that’s not enough, we’ll then develop an interface test plan and put together a list of troubleshooting tips for order trigger issues. Audience: IT technical staff involved with HL7 transactions. |
