This presentation shows users how to utilize the extensive amount of data collected in Medication Administration Checking to provide effective, graphical summary feedback, over time for nursing staff and quality improvement measures. Using a framework of customized UDA Access summary tables and Excel pivot tables will help users optimize the variety of reports available within Pharmacy, MAK, and MS4 to:

  • Determine who is not scanning
  • Determine who is overriding
  • Identify patient safety hazards by nursing unit
  • Use all the information recorded in the system
  • Enforce compliance to The Joint Commission standards
